BV inspection, carried out by Bureau Veritas, is a globally trusted process for ensuring compliance with international quality, safety, and regulatory standards. Sichuan Precision Technology (PRS) worked closely with our customer during the BV inspection of equipment components for a copper electrowinning plant. The inspection process was smooth and successful, with all products meeting the required standards, underscoring PRS’s commitment to quality and reliability.

The electrowinning cells (EW Cells) were subjected to detailed quality assurance procedures. Two completed cells underwent a 24-hour hydrotest supervised by an inspection engineer from BV Company. This test simulated operational conditions by filling the cells with liquid to check for leaks, structural integrity, and overall performance under pressure. The hydrotest confirmed that the cells were robust and fully functional, ensuring their reliability in real-world applications.

The remaining cells were thoroughly checked for surface quality, with no visible defects such as cracks. Dimensional measurements confirmed that the cells matched design specifications, ensuring their seamless integration into the plant.

Accessories like feed manifolds and their rubber supports were also inspected. The manifolds were measured to ensure proper dimensions, while the supports were reviewed for quality and packaged securely. These components are essential for the efficient operation of the electrowinning cells.

Additionally, structural components, including anti-seismic blocks and capping boards, were carefully examined. The anti-seismic blocks, designed to enhance the cells’ stability, were tested for compliance with design parameters. Capping boards, used to complete the cell structure, were inspected for quality and packaged for transport.
