Why Do You Prefer Lead-Antimony Anode Used in Copper Electrolysis or Eletrolyte Purification?
1. Enhanced Hardness & Structural Integrity:
Antimony additives increase tensile strength and reduce deformation under mechanical stress, ensuring longevity in continuous operation.
2. Superior Corrosion Resistance:
The alloy forms a stable protective layer in sulfuric acid electrolytes, minimizing degradation and reducing maintenance costs.
Manufacturing Process & Workflow
Our production ensures precision and quality through rigorous steps:
1. Client Consultation:
• Confirm application-specific requirements (e.g., 10% Sb for enhanced hardness and corrosion resistance is widely used).
• Finalize dimensions (typical plate thickness: 8–10 mm) and conductive bar design (with/without copper bar core).
2. Material Sourcing:
• High-purity lead (99.994%) and antimony ingots to meet alloy composition standards.
3. Custom Tooling:
• Design molds and matching mold-clamping machines (for copper-bar integration) to ensure structural accuracy.
4. Casting & Solidification:
• Melt raw materials at 320–350°C to achieve homogeneous alloy flow.
• Cast into molds using automated systems; clamp molds to secure copper bars during solidification.
5. Post-Production Processing:
• Demold, surface-clean, and inspect for defects (e.g., porosity, dimensional deviations).
• Package vertically on steel frames to prevent deformation during transit.
