Receiving/Washing Conveyor
This conveyor receives the copper-deposited cathodes from the crane and transports them for washing. Made of 316L stainless steel, it spaces the cathode plates 95mm apart and ensures thorough cleaning using a chain system before sending them to the next stage.
Rotating Transfer Arm
This arm, made of carbon steel, lifts the washed cathode plates from the conveyor and places them either on the stripping station or the conveyor for arranging the cathodes. It operates using a hydraulic cylinder.
Cathode Steering Device
Composed of two mechanical arms, this device transfers cathode plates between the receiving conveyor and the stripping station. It ensures smooth, automated movement of the plates for continuous operation.
Stripping Station
The stripping station separates the copper from the cathode plates by inserting a separator knife into the gap created by bending the plate. The knife is pulled through this gap, ensuring complete separation of the copper sheet from the cathode plate.
Arraying and Output Conveyor
After stripping, the blank cathode plates are transferred to the arraying conveyor, which aligns the plates 95mm apart. This conveyor is made of carbon steel with stainless steel chains and prepares the plates for crane lifting.
Conveyor of Removing Cathodes
This conveyor removes unqualified cathode plates that may be too thin, deformed, or damaged. It has a transfer arm that can handle up to 30 rejected plates at a time.
Random Sampling Device
This unit collects samples of copper sheets from the conveyor for quality control. It punches circular specimens from the sheets and allows operators to select the number and location of samples manually or via a process control system.
Stacking Device
After stripping, the copper sheets are stacked onto a table, equipped with load sensors for accurate weighing. The stacking device allows stacking based on either the number of pieces or weight, and once the target is reached, the stack is ready for transport.
Manual Baling Device
This device compresses the copper stacks with a pressure of 5 tons, neatly packing them into bundles for easier handling and storage.
