45,000 TPA Copper EW Plant
45,000 TPA Copper Electrowinning Plant
This project is a 45,000 t/a copper electrowinning facility—centered on a Cathode Copper Tankhouse—designed for an annual output of 45,000 t/a copper cathode, integrating process design, equipment layout, environmental control, and logistics planning into a unified engineering solution.
The entire project is developed using 1:1 full-scale 3D modeling, in which all equipment, materials, and structures are digitally assembled prior to on-site execution. This approach enables a 360-degree virtual review of every process area, allowing potential issues to be identified and resolved in advance—significantly reducing rework, shortening construction timelines, controlling costs, and ensuring smooth project implementation.

Cathode Copper Tankhouse and Workshop Layout
The Cathode Copper Tankhouse (electrowinning workshop) is designed with a main hall width of 18 meters and a length of 112 meters, with the cathode copper stacking area arranged at the end of the cell line. Circulation cells are installed in the auxiliary span with a simplified rain shelter, while rectifiers are configured for outdoor installation, also protected by lightweight roofing. Acid mist control is fully integrated within the workshop, and the design of cells, piping, and platforms is optimized as a coordinated system to ensure operational efficiency, safety, and maintainability.
