BV inspection, carried out by Bureau Veritas, is a globally trusted process for ensuring compliance with international quality, safety, and regulatory standards. The cathode plates underwent visual and dimensional inspections to confirm they were defect-free and consistent with the required specifications. Measurements of key features, including blades, edge strips, and suspension bars, demonstrated compliance with the technical drawings.

To validate performance, electrical resistance testing was conducted on the plates. The measured resistance confirmed excellent electrical conductivity, ensuring the cathodes would perform reliably in the plant’s operations.

Additional components, such as insulators, tension rods with edge strips, and rubber hammers, were also inspected. These accessories were confirmed to be of high quality and were packaged securely for transport.

A small number of cathode plates were set aside for further testing to confirm compatibility with the cathode stripping machine, while the majority are ready for direct shipment to the client. PRS’s meticulous inspection process guarantees the reliability and operational readiness of the cathode plates, ensuring their vital role in the plant’s success.
