The Copper EW Tankhouse Crane (also known as PRS Anode Cathode Lifting Crane) is a purpose-built material handling equipment exclusively designed for copper electrowinning (EW) and electrorefining processes. It serves as the core connection between electrolytic cells, cathode stripping machines and anode preparation units, performing three critical functions:
- Loading aligned anode/cathode plates into empty EW cells
- Unloading finished copper cathodes and transporting them to washing units
- Removing spent anode residues for further processing
